Logging mail is a priority on my To Do list

I've never been one to log incoming or outgoing mail but from what I read on blogs, a lot of letter writers keep this practice.

I have quite a bit of mail coming in and going out and think it might be help me stay organized. I worry about dropping the ball and not replying in a timely fashion or, heaven forbid, forgetting to reply all together!

So, in light of that, do you log the letters/mail art you receive? If so, how do you do it? I'd love to know.

  1. I log my mail in a small journal but after seeing the Letter Ledger that the Well-Appointed Desk posted about this morning, I'm really tempted to buy one. It has more room than mine and will save me having to set up each page before I can log my mail. :)

  2. Oh Jan, I haven't seen that entry but will check it out. It sounds like it might be just what I need. Thank you. :)

  3. I plan to start doing this as well (mainly because my old little brain is starting to have trouble what I wrote to a correspondent the last time, etc.). My thought is that I will snap a photo of the letter/envelope with my phone and upload it to Evernote or something similar. Quick and easy or it doesn't get done, is my motto!

    1. Oh, that's a good idea, Randall. I have evernote but hadn't thought to use it for that. Thanks!
